Warranty Regulations and Policy
1. All hobbies devices are guaranteed for at least one year, except for the accessories and accessories*.
2. To benefit from the warranty services, please bring the original purchase invoice to match the serial number of the device and to ensure that the warranty period is valid.
3. Warranty Service Provider:
3.1 Warranty of the product and the quality of workmanship is provided by the agent and is subject to the manufacturer’s policies which are described in the warranty manual of the product or the manufacturer’s website. For warranty and maintenance services, the customer can communicate with the warranty service provider directly to obtain the required service in accordance with the regulations and regulations.
3.2 Warranty and maintenance services provided by the agent are not considered the responsibility of the world of hobbies, and this includes the availability of spare parts, repair time and quality of service, and the customer must communicate directly with the agent in the event of any complaint or claim.
3.3 To ensure the highest levels of service, Hobbies World offers its own warranty on some products and the customer can contact us for details.
4. General provisions of the guarantee:
4.1 The warranty covers the service of repair or replacement of spare parts free of charge in the event of a manufacturing defect. The warranty does not mean the replacement of the product or the return of its value, and malfunctions resulting from:
• Misuse of the product or non-compliance with the instructions for use in the product manual or the instructions referred to in the Internet and digital pages when activating the device.
• Breaks, blows, cuts, or exposure of the product to external factors such as liquids, moisture or high heat.
• Attempts to repair or maintenance operations by parties not approved by the agent, or the use of spare parts not approved by the Standards and Metrology Organization.
4.3 The customer has the right to get (1 ÷ 400) of the value of the product covered by the warranty in the event of a delay in providing a spare part or delay in maintenance or in the event of a manufacturing defect in the product.
4.4 The customer has the right to obtain an alternative commodity after paying the fair use value or return the purchase value after deducting the fair use value*** in the cases stipulated in the provisions for providing maintenance, providing spare parts and guaranteeing the quality of manufacture issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
4.5 The warranty service provider shall transport the customer's device free of charge from remote areas where warranty services are not available, and the application of all general provisions of the warranty is the responsibility of the service provider.
4.6 The shelf life of each product varies, and the customer must review the product manual or contact the agent for details
5. Free delivery service:
5.1 For the convenience of the customer World of Hobbies Free delivery service to the warranty service provider for some products on behalf of the customer (for malfunctions covered by the warranty) and this service is not considered an operation or a maintenance procedure.
5.2 The customer has the right to go to the warranty service provider to obtain the services directly despite the availability of the free delivery service.
5.3 Hobbies World provides contact information with the warranty service provider in addition to the repair order number so that the customer can follow up on the condition of the product or submit claims to the warranty service provider directly. In all cases, the full responsibility towards the customer remains with the warranty service provider in accordance with the rules and regulations.
5.4 The delivery service takes a maximum of four to seven days, and this period is not counted among the repair time.
5.5 The customer can contact us to find out which products are included in the free delivery service. Hobbies World has the right to stop the delivery service for some products without prior notice without prejudice to the general warranty provisions.
*** The fair use cost is calculated at 5% of the product value at the time of purchase for each month starting from the date of purchase, with no more than 80% of the product value.
6. Maintenance systems:
6.1 Personal information and data in the device is the personal responsibility of the customer and the customer is advised to copy the device data and personal information before performing the maintenance of the device. The warranty service provider is not responsible for the loss of any information or data in the devices.
6.2 The Customer agrees to have his Device repaired by a qualified technician who is entitled to open the Device without prior permission from the Customer if required.
6.3 In the event of any defect or internal damage to the device that was not reported at the time of delivery, the warranty service provider is not responsible for it.
6.4 The customer must show the original delivery form upon receiving the device, otherwise the device will not be delivered.
6.5 Any devices not collected by the customer will be disposed of after one week of notifying the customer of the possibility of collecting the device from the receiving point.
6.10 The period required to obtain data or approval from the customer is not counted as part of the repair time, and this includes:
6.10.1 Payment of the amounts related to the repair (if any).
6.10.2 Obtaining the customer's consent to take a specific action such as requesting a part for out-of-warranty repair.
6.10.3 The time it takes the Customer to bring in accessories that need to be checked such as the electrical adapter, battery or charger cord.
6.11 In all cases, the full responsibility towards the customer remains with the warranty service provider, and Hobbies World is not responsible for:
6.12.1 The quality of the warranty service provided and the time required for repair by the warranty service provider.
6.12.2 Repair costs and availability of replacement or temporary spare parts or equipment.
6.13 It is the responsibility of the customer to pack the equipment well when handing it over to the courier company for delivery.
7. Home Pick-up and Delivery Service Systems:
7.1 The customer acknowledges that the information mentioned in the warranty service request form is correct.
7.2 In the event that the information mentioned in the warranty service request form does not match, Hobbies World has the right to cancel the request and return the product to the customer for a service fee ranging between 60 riyals - 500 riyals, depending on the type of product and the customer's address.
7.3 The customer shall attach clear pictures of the product to be inspected upon receipt by the warranty service provider. Hobbies World is not responsible for any damage to the device if clear pictures of the product are not attached.
7.4 Home pick-up and delivery is not an operation or maintenance procedure.
7.5 The period of receiving the product or delivering the products to the home does not count towards the repair time.
